Is this your first visit to Etobicoke SportMed & Physiotherapy? Don’t worry! We are here to guide you completely. Start with printing our ‘New Patient Form’ and bring it with you on your next visit. You can also avail forms at our office when you visit.

What to Expect on Your First Visit?

• Relax and feel comfortable – When you enter our premises, we ensure that you make yourself at home. We have a friendly staff and doctors who help you relax and feel at ease.
• Consultation – We take a thorough look at your complete medical history and assess your health from various parameters. Physical examinations and tests are also prescribed and undertaken as per initial assessment. This helps us complete a comprehensive diagnosis. Once the diagnosis is complete, we have a thorough discussion with the patient concerning their benefits, cost-of-treatment, individual goals and treatment options. We estimate the initial visit to last around 1 hour.
• Be inquisitive? Ask questions – We understand that patients have queries regarding their health after initial consultation. We encourage you to ask questions you may have about the diagnosis, treatment, procedures, costs, or any other queries you may have.
• Apprise about next appointment – Initial consultation will also pave the way ahead for the next consultation. We will customize a treatment plan for the patient that includes one or more therapy options. The subsequent treatment appointments will be discussed with you in detail.
